Kenzo was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at 22 months old. After bravely completing a 3-year cancer treatment protocol, he is currently in remission and continues to be monitored by his oncology team.
And the inspiration to publish this book came from an Instagram story summarizing his journey to wellness. Moreover, our gratitude to the Almighty for His love, mercy and healing; Second is to be able to pay it forward. And what better way than to publish a book that will be the catalyst for a continuing fund raiser to benefit the less fortunate patients.
Through this little book, we also would like to bring the joy of reading as a parent-child activity.
The title – I AM KENZO BRAVE – is an affirmation that in whatever situation, age or circumstance in life- we all have to BRAVE!
